(Seguin) — A premier place to shop during the holiday season returns to Seguin this weekend. The annual Yulefest Arts and Crafts Show will again be opening its doors this Sunday from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m. at the Seguin Coliseum. The annual tradition is hosted every first weekend in December by the Seguin Art League

Event Chairperson Karen Roberson says not only will Yulefest return, but it will be the largest arts and crafts show ever hosted by the local group.

“We are looking forward to a successful year and the only thing that has really changed is new vendors and the most vendors we’ve ever had. We will have over 100 booths. We will have a full inside and about 30 to 35 booths outside,” said Roberson.

Despite its growth, Roberson says the quality of the show remains exclusive to a number of handmade items.

“The most important thing for people to remember is that all of our vendors make handmade items. We are exclusively a handmade show and we stress this and we know that that makes it a really quality show,” Roberson.

Roberson says she has worked hard to steadily grow the event and looks forward to welcoming folks from throughout the state.

“We have crafters and artisans coming from up to about 100 miles away and from about 25 different cities,” said Roberson.

The event is free.
