Niagara Cares is perking parks! Max Starke Park in Seguin is one of nine finalists in the running to receive a $75,000 park renovation.
Nine parks are in the running, but only three parks with the most support will each receive a $75,000 park renovation!
Our Parks and Recreation Department has submitted Max Starcke Park: Upgraded Wheelchair Accessible Park Equipment for a chance to receive a $75,000 grant project. The awarding of this grant will allow the Parks and Recreation Department to renovate a playscape at Max Starcke Park to make the park accessible for kids of all abilities to participate in play. The funding would supply new, interactive and wheelchair-friendly equipment to the park. These additions are important to our city as we aim to create more community gathering spaces where underserved populations can experience outdoor recreational activities. Help us make Max Starcke Park a place for all-inclusive play!
